Jim Sukenik approaches the challenges

and sophistication. As President and Principal of The Baker Group,
Jim heads up every project that comes through the door, overseeing

MONA MILIUS
Principal Consultant
One
of the most respected figures within the foodservice segment of
higher education Mona Milius
joined The Baker Group as Principal
Consultant in November of 2007. Prior
to this transition, Mona served as Director of Dining Services at the University of Northern Iowa where she
was responsible for residential dining operations, student union
food service, central production commissary, catering, kiosks
and convenience stores for over 27 years. Under Mona's watch,
UNI dining services have implemented nutrition programs, an updated
computerized system as well as receiving multiple national accolades.
Catering and dining services have earned national awards and recognition
for innovation and quality. The new dining venues her department
opened in the past two years would be points of pride on any campus
anywhere.
Mona
was selected by foodservice professionals nationwide to serve
as president of the National Association of College & University
Food Services (NACUFS) from 2004 - 2005. Prior to her election to the position, Mona was involved with the Association
as Regional President, National Conference Chair, strategic planning
coordinator, presenter and coach/mentor for the Food Service Management
Institute. She also served on many national committees, helping
to develop the association's current strategic plan, and has been
a featured presenter on topics of benchmarking, financial management
and menu development at NACUFS training programs for over 10 years.
